How to Install
Buy Alisa: Director's Cut from Steam and install it.
Download the datafiles.zip and alisa.vpk from the Release page.
Install alisa.vpk on your PSVita.
Extract on your PC datafiles.zip in a folder of your preference.
From the Steam game datafiles, copy all files (excluding directories) from Alisa_Data folder except for app.info and output_log.txt (it should total at 289 files) to the alisa folder in the datafiles folder.
Run patch_files.bat.

Step 1 Install the VPK:

Download the VPK from here, or from VitaDB and install as you usually would. At this stage the game will crash during launch because you need to install the Media directory that contains copyrighted content
Step 2 Convert the xDelta to Media.zip and Install in ux0:app/APTR1007/Media

Make sure that your version of Portal is up to date. This process uses the version that's available on Steam and there's really no excuse not to buy it as it's only $9.99!
Download ApetureReconstructedFiles_0.1.72.zip and when it's complete place it into the data directory for the steam version of the Portal game (C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonPortalportal)
Select "Extract here" and extract the zip into this directory. It will add ApetureReconstructedFiles.xdelta, xdelta-3.1.0-x86_64.exe, and ApplyPatch.bat
Run ApplyPatch.bat and wait for the process to complete. The process will give you a decrypted "Media.zip" folder which contains game content
Extract the resulting "Media.zip" folder and install over ux0:app/APTR1007/Media on your Vita, replacing any existing files in that directory
The files installed by the process can now be deleted if you wish
Step 3 Setup Authentication:

I have designed ApetureReconstructed to require the original game file "portal_pak_dir.vpk". I do not know if this will be specific to the English version, but it's the one from the Steam distribution

Make sure that your version of Portal is up to date

Copy "portal_pak_dir.vpk" from C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonPortalportal to the Data directory for Apeture:Reconstructed: ux0:data/AptrRecon
This should now appear as ux0:data/AptrRecon/portal_pak_dir.vpk
If you wish to make this process easier you may want to run Apeture:Reconstructed first so that it will create the data directory for you, but remain stuck at the authentication screen

Substantially improved video playback performance by passing YUV data directly to GXM, avoiding CPU color space conversion.
Added playstation button icons and PS Vita diagram in control settings screen. Notes:
This works by automatically patching the original game files when the game starts. The game creates automatic backups of files before applying patches (e.g., config.lmp.backup). Backups are only created once and won't be overwritten. The patching code was written with the help of AI tools.
This was achieved in part thanks to the cool BGDA Explorer tool for PS2 by Bryce Barbara. The tool was adapted to work with the Xbox texture format and modified to support importing new textures. I will share the modified fork of BGDA Explorer in the future.
Eliminated periodic framerate stutter every 3-4 seconds. Moved Vorbis audio decoding to a background thread on CPU core 2. Local ad-hoc — two Vitas / PS TVs on the same Wi-Fi, no setup. VS MODE → NETPLAY → LOCAL ADHOC → Host / Find Game.
Online — direct-IP with predictive rollback (6-frame window). The host lobby tries UPnP automatic port forwarding and shows your public IP; if UPnP is off it tells you which ports to forward (26041/tcp + 26042/udp).
Optional self-hosted lobby board (server/matchmaker/) so joiners can browse open games instead of trading IPs — gameplay stays direct P2P, no game data stored.
Graceful desync recovery: both consoles return to the lobby instead of a dead disconnect screen.
Host match rules page (press R in the lobby): items + per-item on/off list, team battle, friendly fire, damage ratio, handicap, stage/stock/time, RANDOM on most.

Install
Copy battleship.vpk to the Vita and install with VitaShell (or similar). First launch needs a few minutes to compile the shader cache — don't interrupt it.

Known gaps
3–4 player netplay is not fully tested.
A console behind CGNAT (some fibre / mobile) can only join, not host — no relay yet.

Added widescreen! (Or whatever your system's fullscreen is.) Overlay options are still present if you'd prefer to play with a square aspect ratio.
Widescreen may result in slightly worse performance on some systems, but New 3DS is the only one where it's actually noticeable in my experience.
Added three new background/overlay color options and one new block color option.
Also reorganized background/overlay color options.
Added Spawn Area setting that allows the player to change the size of the block spawn area.
A larger area will be more visually appealing but have worse performance on weak devices. Conversely, a smaller area will look more cramped but improve framerate.
Adjusted HUD element positions.

[Android] Increased block spawn boundaries from 10.0 to 12.0 (same as PC).
[PC] Config file now stores WINDOW_WIDTH and WINDOW_HEIGHT instead of just WINDOW_SIZE (which previously set both width and height).

[Vita] Slightly improved performance. Minimum no-overclock framerate increased from ~45 FPS to ~52 FPS.
