Aleph One is the open source continuation of Bungie's Marathon 2 game engine. Aleph One supports Marathon, Marathon 2 and Marathon Infinity natively. Many third party scenarios and net maps are also available.

- Rebuilt the renderer. The 3D view now renders on two CPU cores and the HUD on a third
- Stable 30 FPS in all games (Framerate Target in the Graphics settings, set it to Unlimited for up to 50 FPS if you want)
- Menus, Intro and Scenario Chooser now run at up to 60 FPS
- Fixed the green background in the Scenario Chooser
- Levels load up to 8x faster
- Native 960x544 resolution
- Existing preferences are updated automatically to the new defaults
