## Highlights
- **Multiplayer.** `JAMPVITA.vpk`
- **Improved booting speed.**.
- **Improved level loading times**, SP and MP.
- **Pre-built texture cache.** The first visit to a level no longer has to be slow. A PC
tool (`tools/texbake`) builds the whole cache in seconds and copies one file to the card.
Lowering texture detail no longer throws the cache away either.
## Performance
- Bug fixes, little performance improvements
## Fixed
- **Game closing on multiplayer join.** A load error during a join could shut the game
down to the LiveArea. It now returns to the menu with a message. The same fix applies
to single-player level loads.
- **Sound effects** load faster and a little cleaner.
- **Silent lightsaber after reloading a save.** Loading a save a second time muted the
saber ignition sound until enough game time had passed. Force power screen tints could
also get stuck after a reload.
- **Map downloads on weak Wi-Fi.** Blocks that arrive after a lost packet are kept instead
of thrown away, roughly doubling download speed on a lossy connection. (Still slow, prepare assets on PC and copy over instead)
- **Server list on slow DNS.** Master server lookups wait as long as the Vita's own apps do.
## Install
1. Install `JAVITA.vpk` (single-player) and/or `JAMPVITA.vpk` (multiplayer) with VitaShell.
2. Copy the four `assets*.pk3` files to `ux0:data/JAVITA/base/` if you have not already.
3. Optional: run `tools/texbake` on your PC and copy its `pack.bin` to
`ux0:data/JAVITA/texcache_dxt/` to skip the first-visit texture wait entirely.
