A native PlayStation Vita port of MOTHER: Encore, the free fan-made reimagining of MOTHER 1, adapted from its original Godot Engine PC release. This repository contains the source patches, control rewrites, and tooling created to make the game run natively on the PS Vita hardware.
What's Changed
Fixed touch L2/R2: touching the left/right half of the screen now correctly presses L2 (Scope) and R2 (Crouch/Telepathy) in-game, not just on the polling checks.
Known Issues
The game still crashes when entering the first battle. Fix planned for the next version.
High GPU load / low frame rate in the overworld and title screen.
Install
Every release ships two files: the .vpk (app) and a -GameData.zip (game_data/game.pck). You need both:
Install MotherEncore-Vita-v0.2b.vpk with VitaShell or FMVita.
Extract MotherEncore-Vita-v0.2b-GameData.zip and copy the game_data folder to ux0:app/MOTHER001/ (so game.pck ends up at ux0:app/MOTHER001/game_data/game.pck).
