Originally released in 1980 for the Apple II, "Mystery House" was designed, written, and illustrated by Roberta Williams and programmed by Ken Williams. It became the first graphical adventure game, the first title created by On-Line Systems (later known as Sierra On-Line), and helped define the adventure game genre for generations.
This remake brings the classic mystery back with enhanced visuals and the spirit, story, atmosphere of the original adventure.
This is an independent remake created as a tribute to the original "Mystery House". The original game was released into the public domain by Sierra On-Line in 1987 as part of the company’s 7th anniversary celebration.
