A simple homebrew to change X/O layout (Japanese/non-Japanese confirm layouts)
This homebrew allows you to swap X/O button assignment.
On Japanese Vitas O is confirm and X is cancel, while the rest of the world is X confirm, O cancel.
To change the confirm button behavior, install the vpk, then open the button-swapper bubble and follow the directions.
(Please note that using this homebrew is different from swapping X/O in Accessibility settings => Button Assignment. This homebrew "properly" swaps the buttons, without using Accessibility settings. For more information, check the source code.)

Welp, this has been a highly requesting thing for years at this point. This was started around the same time we first found the piglet module months ago and put on hold for a few months, but it's finally here.
The Python 2.7 interpreter is now running and mostly functional on the PSVita.
Some small features have been stripped, but most IO functions, Networking functions, and module importing function are present, with support for Cython modules by building along with the Python 2.7 library.
This will allow devs to be able to integrate a Python interpreter in their previous or new projects with an easy to use C library, and can be easily used to create a full vita specific python module for even more advanced control over the Vita from the comfort of a python script.
Included in the repo is a simple example of a Youtube-dl (not included in the repo modules) python script to download Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up". But you may find that you can actually edit the python file within the VPK to download a video of your choice or even write your own simple Python programs. Give it a shot.
For devs, building is a simple as installing DolceSDK and running the build_vita.sh script. Make sure you also have python 2.7.18 (Latest version) installed.

h-encore, where h stands for hacks and homebrews, is the second public jailbreak for the PS Vita™ which supports the newest firmwares 3.65, 3.67 and 3.68. It allows you to make kernel- and user-modifications, change the clock speed, install plugins, run homebrews and much more.

Requirements
Your device must be on firmware 3.65-3.72. If you're on a lower firmware, please decide carefully to what firmware you want to update, then search for a trustable guide on /r/vitahacks.
If your device is a phat OLED model, you need a Memory Card in order to install. There's no need for a Memory Card on Slim/PS TV models, since they already provide an Internal Storage. Make sure you have got at least 270 MB of free space.
Your device must be linked to any PSN account (it doesn't need to be activated though). If it is not, then you must restore default settings in order to sign in.
Installation
Download h-encore² and extract it on your computer.
Download and install qcma, psvimgtools and pkg2zip (check the releases section for the binaries).
If you don't know where to put psvimgtools and pkg2zip binaries, just put them in the h-encore-2 folder.
Download the vulnerable DRM-free demo of bitter smile (yes, that's the user entry point).
Extract the demo using this command in terminal/cmd:
pkg2zip -x PATH_OF_PKG
This will output the files to app/PCSG90096.
Copy the contents of the output app/PCSG90096 to the folder h-encore-2/app/ux0_temp_game_PCSG90096_app_PCSG90096 (such that the files eboot.bin and VITA_PATH.TXT are within the same folder).
Copy the license file app/PCSG90096/sce_sys/package/temp.bin to the folder
h-encore-2/license/ux0_temp_game_PCSG90096_license_app_PCSG90096 and rename the just pasted file temp.bin to 6488b73b912a753a492e2714e9b38bc7.rif. Be careful with the file extension, it should not be .rif.bin. Again, this file should be in the same folder as VITA_PATH.TXT.
Start qcma and within the qcma settings set the option Use this version for updates to FW 0.00 (Always up-to-date) to spoof the System Software check.
Launch Content Manager on your PS Vita and connect it to your computer, where you then need to select PC -> PS Vita System, and after that you select Applications. If you see an error message about System Software, you should simply reboot your device to solve it (if this doesn't solve, then put your device into airplane mode and reboot). If this does still not work, then alternatively set DNS to 212.47.229.76 to block updates. This should create a folder at PS Vita/APP/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on your computer (see qcma settings where this folder is), where the folder xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx represents the AID (account ID that is 16 characters long) that you need to insert here. If the AID is valid, it will yield a key that you can now use to encrypt the demo.
Change directory to the h-encore-2 folder in terminal/cmd and use the key to encrypt all folders using (make sure you don't confuse the key with the AID, the key is 64 characters long!):

Lua Player Plus Vita is the first lua interpreter made for the Sony PlayStation Vita.

1) Download and install mincg.vpk on the console.
2) Open mincg and press [CROSS] to dump the SMI data.
3) Copy the _SMI_ files from ux0:data/ to your PC
- Please consider sending the dump to [email protected] to help out other users.
4) Copy the [.SMI_KEY] file to the mincg/pctool/ directory
- Rename it to something short, i.e "cur.key".
5) Run the mincg pc tool with the key-file name as the argument
- i.e "./mincg cur.key".
6) If there is a match - congrats, you are lucky (there are only 3/256 chances)
- If your own, previously contributed SMI got a match, you can remove or rename it from the /keys/ directory and re-run the tool.
7) Copy the "TSMI.SMI" file from /mincg/ to ux0:data/ on Playstation Vita/TV
8) Open mincg and press [CIRCLE] to flash the new SMI data.
- If it fails, please send me "ux0:data/mincg.log" and your _SMI_ files
9) Thats it! You just changed your minfw version.

- You do it at your own risk, i take no responsability for whatever happens to your console.
- The PC tool requires OpenSSL (enc).
- mincg creates a log in "ux0:data/mincg.log".
- You should NOT downgrade below 3.60 there may be some hardware differences on lower firmwares i.e: no slims support on 2.00.
- You should NOT update to 3.74+ when it gets released, sony may patch this exploit.

## Usage
### psvimg-extract
This is used to extract `.psvimg` files. The extracted output includes a directory for each backup set (e.g: `ur0:appmeta`, `ux0:iconlayout.ini`, and `ur0:tmp/registry` are three separate sets). Each backup set contains zero or more files and directories. A special file `VITA_PATH.TXT` is created for each set to remember what the original path was before extraction (this is used for repacking). A set can be only a single file (for example `ux0:iconlayout.ini`). In that case, the file `VITA_DATA.BIN` is created to host the contents of the file.
### psvmd-decrypt
This decrypts and decompresses `.psvmd` files. The contents of which are defined in `psvimg.h`. This contains information such as the firmware version of the system that created the backup and the unique PSID of the system. Extracting this file is not required for repacking and is provided for reverse engineering/debugging purposes.
### psvimg-create
This repacks extracted files and creates the associated `.psvimg` and `.psvmd` files. If you have a _decrypted_ `.psvmd`, you may pass it in with `-m` and the tool will reuse as many fields as possible (exception: size fields). No validity checks will be performed. If you do not have a decrypted `.psvmd`, you should use the `-n` option and specify the name of the backup. You should use the same name (the file name without the `.psvimg` extension) when repacking because CMA does check for a valid name. For example, if you are repacking `license.psvimg`, you should specify `-n license`.
The pack input directory should follow the same format as the output of `psvimg-extract`. The means a separate directory for each backup set (there may only be one set, in which your input directory will contain one subdirectory) each with a `VITA_PATH.TXT` file specifying the Vita path and optionally a `VITA_DATA.BIN` file if the set is a file.
Note that CMA does check the paths of the backup sets. Trying to add a backup set with a custom path may result in failure.
## psvimg-keyfind
This is a brute-force backup key find tool. You should generate a valid `partials.bin` file using the provided "dump_partials" Vita homebrew that runs on HENkaku enabled consoles. You can generate partials for other people as well if you know their AID. The `partials.bin` file does not contain any console-unique information but is derived from the provided PSN AID. The AID is the 16 hex characters in your CMA backup path. For example, if I wish to decrypt `PS Vita/PGAME/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/NPJH00053/game/game.psvimg` then my AID is `xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx`.
The `-n` option specifies the number of threads to run. On Linux, each thread tries to run on a separate processor. On OSX/Windows, it is up to the scheduler to make such decisions. You should not specify too high of a number here, as running multiple threads on a single CPU will result in diminishing returns. A good rule of thumb is to specify the number of CPU cores on your system.

This is an updated version of SonicMastr's Ren'Py 7 Vita port that changes the underlying library from Python2.7 to Python3.11 and bumps the supported features. This release has very minor cleanups and fixes to Ren'Py Vita in general (most notably removal of accidental logging in previous release), however the main focus is the introduction of VitaGL as an alternative OpenGL backend to PVR_PSP2 used in the past.
The VitaGL version (included in RenPy_Vita_8_v0.2.1_VGL) is still very much in shambles and does not provide the beauty and splendor of the PVR version yet. You can expect it to be a bit more glitchy and marginally slower however as it is still under active development and is a wrapper - it can potentially allow us to move forward with updating the actual Ren'Py engine towards and past the 8.4 release which would most likely never happen with PVR alone.
Please remember:
PVR_PSP2 version is standalone. You just copy the contents of the zip to app folder as described in the README.

also due to a restriction in the firmware (probably added in 3.55) the SecureTick cannot be set to any date before 1/1/2015, so you will get error code 0x80251000 if your start activation date is before this time. (this doesnt matter on devkit, only a minor annoyance on soft resets!)
upon running activate.vpk your activation data will be backed up to pd0:/data/ and ux0:/data/ its highly recommended to make a copy on your PC as well.
pd0:data/ because its read-only and it remains even after updating or reinstalling the firmware. basicly it would be difficult to actidently delete them
oh btw, normal henkaku doesnt work if your system is activated, (it assumes its allready installed) ive made the modifications nessorcary to make it install regardless and hosting it currently at http://psmreborn.com/act-hen

So I was looking for a way to remove the "Featured" area of the PSTV (h-encore 3.68). But vs0: is read-only. Then I came across VitaRW. But it is a bit much and tries to remount everything (including os0), and ends up breaking things (until restart).
Therefore I decided to modify its loop to mount only 2 partitions (vd0 and vs0). I decided to call this VitaRW-min

YoYo Loader is a loader for libyoyo.so, the official GameMaker Studio Runner application for Android, for the PS Vita.
YoYo Loader works by loading such ARMv7 executable in memory, resolving its imports with native functions and patching it in order to properly run.
By doing so, it's basically as if we emulate a minimalist Android environment in which we run natively the executable as is.
This enables to run potentially any game made with GameMaker Studio.
