The first public release of DX Garden: a globe radio explorer for the PS Vita. Spin the globe, stop the crosshair on a place, and hear what's on air there.

**This is a beta.** Everything is in and has been tested on a PCH-1000, and this release is to hear how it does on other Vitas before 1.0. Please report problems as GitHub issues, with the log from `ux0:data/dxgarden/` (`log-0.9.0-b30.txt`).

### What it does
- A globe with a dot for each place: stop the crosshair on one and it starts playing. Or browse by country, city or genre, with favourites and recently played.
- Search by station or place name, jump to a random place, a sleep timer, and a dark screen that keeps the radio playing (it saves most of the display's power on the OLED Vita).
- MP3 streams over HTTP and HTTPS, with track titles, playlist links, clear error messages, and automatic reconnecting, including after standby.
- About 7,500 stations included (see below), plus your own: edit `stations.txt`, drop M3U/PLS files in `import/`, or add a stream by URL.

### Installing
1. You need HENkaku or ensō, VitaShell and Wi-Fi.
2. DX Garden needs the shader compiler at `ur0:data/libshacccg.suprx`. If you don't have it, run the ShaRKBR33D homebrew once to extract it.
3. Install `dxgarden-0.9.0.vpk` with VitaShell.

### About the station list
The included list is a snapshot of [Radio Browser](https://www.radio-browser.info) from 21 October 2026, with places checked against GeoNames and Natural Earth. It was correct as of that date. Stations change address and close, so some will stop working over time; keeping the list up to date, and any changes you make to it, are your responsibility. The app never overwrites your `stations.txt`.

### Known limits
- MP3 only. AAC, Ogg and HLS stations show a message instead of playing.
- Real standby (the power button) and the PS button pause playback, as with any homebrew app. The station reconnects when you come back.
