Plug a USB sound card, a USB DAC, or one of those cheap USB headphone dongles into your PSTV's USB port and system audio comes out of it: games, PSX titles, the LiveArea, everything the console plays. No app to launch and nothing to configure: attach the device and it takes over, unplug it and audio returns to HDMI on its own.
This is useful if your TV's audio is bad, if you want headphones without running a cable from the TV, or if you want a real DAC in the chain.
It is output only. Microphones and headset input are not supported.

- Fixed USB audio refusing to start after about twenty unplug/replug cycles,
which until now needed a reboot to clear. SceUsbd drops a pulled device's pipe
without cancelling the isochronous requests queued on it, so three are lost to
its 64-entry pool every time; the plugin now hands them back after each
detach.
- Registered as a composite USB driver, claiming the audio interface rather than
the whole device.
- The firmware table now carries the SceAudio and SceUsbd module NIDs beside
AVConfig's and checks all three. Every offset was re-read from the decrypted
modules of all eleven supported firmware.
- Replaced the pointer queue with one published block sequence and a two-block
cursor, preserving latest-audio recovery with less shared state.
- Fixed rapid unplug/replug by keeping teardown serialized until Sony's worker
and route are clean; a replacement session remains queued until the old
capture storage is safe to reuse.
- A failed initial USB submission now fails the session instead of reporting a
running stream.
