Install on your PSP

Plugin: extract PSPLockV5_brewology_com.rar and copy vshmain.prx to /SEPLUGINS/ on the Memory Stick. On ARK-4 and ARK-5, add a line for it to /SEPLUGINS/PLUGINS.TXT:

game, ms0:/SEPLUGINS/vshmain.prx, on

Use vsh instead of game for a plugin that runs in the XMB, or pops for PS1 games, as the release notes say.

PSP users utilizing Auraomega's useful PSPLock should get ready to update their PSP protection software, now that the software is in it's fifth version. While Auraomega hasn't fixed the CXMB bug and the password prompt that appears after exiting a game, here's the changelog for this version:

Version 5 changelog:

  • Removed PEF after many bugs, and patched the vshmain_real.prx loading to no longer show the startup every time.
  • Also fixed a few bugs.

As always, refer to the readme file upon installing the homebrew software. Enjoy!
