Install on your PS5

App folder (.zip): unzip PPSA92000.zip and copy the PPSA92000 folder to /data/homebrew/ on the PS5, over FTP or from a USB drive. Some apps also need their title ID added to etaHEN's app list: the release notes say.

Payload: start an ELF loader on the PS5 first, such as elfldr, which listens on port 9021. Then open this address in a browser on a computer or phone on the same network, with your PS5's address in place of PS5. elfldr downloads the payload and runs it.

About RecompStore

No game files come from the store. Each port needs your own copy: on the game's page you pick your disc image, an Xbox Live Arcade file, a title update, DLC or a ROM, and the store puts what the port needs where it expects it.

Games, Emulators, Apps and Tools have a tab each, and Library lists what's installed and what has updates waiting. Installs and updates come from GitHub releases and keep your game files, saves, DLC and mods. If another app already uses a title ID, it asks first and can install under a new ID. You can add your own GitHub sources, and a QR code in Settings links a phone so you can send installs from recompstore.com.

Before installing, you need kstuff, a payload loader on port 9021 such as etaHEN or elfldr, and ShadowMountPlus 1.7 Beta 5 or newer for the home screen. The release is an installer, RecompStore-Installer.elf, which puts the store in /data/homebrew/PPSA92000. After that the store updates itself.

RecompStore 2.7.4

  • Setting up a game is faster: disc images on the same drive as the game are moved into place instead of copied, so it takes a second and doesn't need room for a second copy. Files from another drive, like a USB stick, are still copied.
  • Game pages with lots of files to set up now fit their panel. It scrolls to whatever you're on, with a scroll bar on its edge.
