What can my PS5 do?

On a PS5 the firmware decides, not the model. Tell us what yours runs and we say whether homebrew is possible today, whether this store's packages install on it, and where the community keeps the exploit steps. Brewology links the guides and hosts no exploit.

Disc or digital, original, Slim or Pro: the answer is the same for the same firmware.

PS5 homebrew with etaHEN on firmware 3.00 to 10.01

What to do on a PS5 that runs etaHEN, in order: stop updates, run the exploit for your firmware, load etaHEN, and turn on its package installer so this store's packages install.

For: any PS5 (original, Slim or Pro) on firmware 3.00 to 10.01 · updated Oct 29, 2026

The community keeps the current firmware table in the GBAtemp PS5 Exploit Guide: which exploit fits which firmware, and which tools work on it. Brewology links it for that table; the thread also covers game backups, which this site does not.

Installing from this store

Apps (.zip): unzip the download and copy the app folder to /data/homebrew/ on the PS5, over FTP or from a USB drive. Some apps also need their title ID added to etaHEN's app list: the release notes say.

Packages (.pkg): with etaHEN running (firmware 3.00 to 10.01), and its Direct Package Installer turned on (it is off until you set DPI=1 in /data/etaHEN/config.ini), every app page shows its download link under "Install on your PS5"; send it to port 9090 of your console's LAN address and the package installs. Itemzflow launches what you installed.

What you will find here. Homebrew applications, games, emulators and tools as homebrew packages, and payloads listed with a link to their release page. Not here, on purpose: commercial packages, backports of retail titles, key tools. Something that should not be here?
