PS3HEN 3.6.0 on HFW 4.93.1

Hybrid firmware (HFW) plus PS3HEN: homebrew on every PS3 model without touching the flash. One icon turns it on after each restart.

Before you start

Do not enable FSM (Factory Service Mode) with PS3HEN, and do not install CCAPI with PS3HEN. Both are on the exploit authors' own warning list.
Use only ps3xploit.me. Look-alike domains (ps3xploit.cc and the old .com, .net and .org) are not the authors' and may be malicious.
Check the MD5 of HFW 4.93.1 before you install it.
Keep the console on mains power and do not switch it off while firmware installs.

Steps

Download HFW 4.93.1 on a PC and check its MD5 against the table below.
On a USB stick formatted FAT32 (MBR), make the folders PS3/UPDATE and put the file there named PS3UPDAT.PUP.
On the PS3: Settings, System Update, Update via Storage Media. Let it install and restart.
In the PS3 browser: Tools, Confirm Browser Close, Off. Set the home page to a blank page, then delete cookies, history, cache and authentication information.
Open ps3xploit.me, choose PS3HEN, then HEN Auto Installer, and press "Auto Install HEN". Press nothing until the download finishes; the console installs PS3HEN and restarts.
After every restart, run ★ Enable HEN in the Game column. It works offline. To land on it at once, set Settings, Display [What's New], Off.
If it crashes, try again. After any firmware reinstall, install HEN again; after updating HEN, reinstall webMAN MOD 1.47.50d.
