About ThirdTube

Gets the raw video stream from YouTube and plays it with the decoder from Core-2-Extreme's Video player for 3DS. It doesn't run JavaScript or draw web pages, which is why it's a lot faster than YouTube in the browser. Search, suggestions, comments, captions, livestreams and premieres are in, and your watch history and subscriptions stay on the console.

You need Luma3DS, and DSP1 run once for sound. The author says it needs at least system version 8.1.0-0.

- B: back
- Circle Pad up/down: scroll
- L/R: switch tabs
- Select + Start: blank the bottom screen
- Left/Right in the player: skip 10 seconds

The author calls it alpha, so expect crashes.

This is a minor fix regarding page loading issues.

  • Fixed channel page not loading
  • Fixed like count not showing up on video page
  • Replaced Home with Trending, since YouTube started to require tracking data(and at least one search/video watching with the tracking id) for Home
