About red-viper

Continues mrdanielps's r3Ddragon, which came from Reality Boy and Red Dragon. The author says all officially licensed games run at full speed, even on an original 3DS. The screen runs at 50Hz, like the Virtual Boy.

ROMs need the .vb extension and can be zipped. Put them anywhere on the SD card: there's a file browser and it remembers the last folder you used. Saves and save states work. Buttons can be remapped, New 3DS buttons and the Circle Pad Pro included, and the touch screen can act as the right D-Pad or as A and B. There's local wireless multiplayer and a choice of colour palettes.

Virtual Boy games can't scale their depth, so the 3D slider moves the whole picture back or forward. Turn on "Virtual Boy IPD" mode for the full range.

If you get a DSP firmware error, update Luma3DS and dump the DSP firmware. Flashcarts like Gateway can't run it, because the recompiler needs Luma.
