Draw on the touch screen or type a message of up to 150 characters, and it shows up for everyone else in the room. It runs over the internet on the author's server, so you need to be online.

There are more than 25 rooms, among them a main plaza in several languages and rooms for finding people to play with. Each room takes up to 18 people, and the lobby shows how many are in each one. Pick a nickname of up to 12 characters, choose a colour with Y, and X changes the pen and eraser size. The Circle Pad scrolls back through the chat.

Messages and drawings go through an automatic filter, and human admins make the ban decisions. Bans are tied to the console.

Welcome to NoteRoom v4.0 Alpha! This update brings interactive multiplayer minigames, a persistent server-side Coin & Stats system, a spooky new 3D Halloween atmosphere, and a mysterious new Spell Wheel!

✨ What's New in v4.0 Alpha

🎮 1. Multiplayer Minigames & Solo Fishing ([START] -> MINIGAMES & STATS)

Team up or compete against each other! Multiplayer minigames can be started anytime with at least 2 players in a room via a quick majority vote, and winners are announced directly in the chat:

• 🎣 Cozy Island Fishing & Fishing Derby (Solo [X] or 90s Tournament):
• Walk up to any water edge and press [X] to cast your animated fishing rod!
• Watch the fish swim toward your bobber. Once it's close, tap [A] to twitch the bait until it bites!
• Complete a randomized, error-free 4-button combo (A / B / X / Y) before the timer runs out to catch the fish and earn +10 Coins!
• 🪙 Coin Hunt (60s Time Limit):
• Spawns 3 sparkling, 3D-spinning gold coins per player across the island.
• Race across the map to collect as many coins as possible (+10 Coins per coin) before time runs out!
• 📦 Prop Hunt (90s Hide & Seek):
• One player becomes the Seeker, while everyone else becomes a Hider.
• 8 Switchable Disguises: Hiders can transform into 8 different island objects (Chest, Barrel, Crate, Pot, Tree Stump, Plant, Gravestone, or Lantern) using [D-Pad Left / Right] or [A]—completely hidden without name tags, shadows, speech bubbles, or direction arrows!
• Survive until the timer ends (or find all Hiders as the Seeker) to win the +30 Coins Jackpot!

💰 2. Server-Side Coins & Player Stats

• Earn & Save Coins: Every coin you collect and every fish you catch is permanently saved to your account on the server.
• Live Stats Dashboard: Check your current Coin Balance, Total Fish Caught, Total Messages Sent, and Total Playtime (in Hours & Minutes) anytime under [START] -> MINIGAMES & STATS, plus live Lobby and Global Online player counts in the System Menu.

🔮 3. New "Special" Spell Wheel (Secret Server Rewards!)

• The [Y] Spell Menu has been expanded with a brand-new Special Spell Wheel!
• These exclusive spells cannot be unlocked through normal chatting—they are granted directly by the Server / Admins to selected players and event winners.
• What do they do? We're keeping them 100% SECRET for now... keep playing, join events, and let yourselves be surprised! 👀✨

🎃 4. "Spooky Halloween" 3D Atmosphere & Redesigned Main Menu

• Spooky 3D Filter: Enjoy floating 3D ghosts, flapping bats, glowing green ectoplasm mist, dry lightning storms, and a harvest blood moon!
• New 3-Tab Main Menu:
• Main Plaza (Worlds & Islands)
• Support Tickets & Admin Lounge (Bug Reports, Unban Requests, Suggestions & Admin Lounge)
• Settings, Weather & HUD Studio (Directly accessible from the Main Menu!)
• Improved Controls & Stability: D-Pad now exclusively selects Main Menu tabs while the Circle Pad moves your character. Plus, major RAM optimizations and weather sync fixes!
