About Mini vMac
It emulates a Macintosh Plus or a Macintosh II, and the release has builds for several screen sizes and colour depths. You need the Mac's ROM file (vMac.ROM for the Plus, MacII.ROM for the II) and your disk images. Put the app, the ROM and the disks together in sdmc:/3ds/vmac/.
Name the disks disk1.dsk, disk2.dsk and so on. They load at start, so disk1.dsk has to be a bootable System disk. If all you get is a flashing disk, that's the problem. There's also an Insert Disk screen, where B goes up a folder and X cancels.
- Circle Pad, C-Stick or touch screen: mouse
- L or R: click
- D-Pad: arrow keys
- Y: on-screen keyboard
- Select: change how the top screen is scaled
- Start: Mini vMac's control mode
- X: dismiss Mini vMac messages
Shut the Mac down properly, then press L+R+Start to quit. The Macintosh II builds can sit on a black screen for a while as they start, and they're slow on an original 3DS, in 256 colours most of all. The author calls the 1024x768 build super slow and unreadable.
