About Linux
Boots a small Linux system with BusyBox, and you can start the Weston desktop from it. It's unfinished, more of a proof of concept. The last build is from December 2020, and the repo is archived.
You need boot9strap or fastboot3DS, with Luma3DS to load the payload. Copy the files from the zip like this:
- zImage, nintendo3ds_ctr.dtb and arm9linuxfw.bin go in /linux/ on the SD card
- firm_linux_loader.firm goes in /luma/payloads/
Hold Start as you turn the 3DS on, or the button you've set for that payload. Log in as root with the password root, and run /start-weston.sh for Weston. Select switches the input between keyboard and mouse.
