XMB Eboots Launcher changelog

PSP homebrew developer Red_Squirrel visited the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announce the launch of XMB Eboots Launcher v1.2. As a recap, this application will enable users to launch an EBOOT when you press on one of the XMB icons.

This new build in particular will carry a couple of new icons, and a PDF-format readme file. Here's the latest changelog (Quoting the readme):

• Added a README.PDF.
• Added the following icons to the list of the icons that can be replaced:

o Skype (Slim only)
o VSHMenù (SELECT button)
o Opening (just after the coldboot)
o NETSettings (Network Settings and, unfortunatly, USB Connection)

Those interested in further details on using this homebrew will want to view the readme included with the file bundle. You may also want to visit Red_Squirrel's release thread at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forum if you're interested in sending your feedback.

French homebrew developer Red_Squirrel has released a new program for the Sony PlayStation Portable called XMB Eboots Launcher. It is actually a plugin that gives users the option to launch an eboot when you press on one of the XMB icons.

According to the owner, the process of replacing the icons doesn't deal with the handheld's Flash0 so there's no danger of bricking. Here are the changelogs for this build as well as the previous version:

v1.1
