ThemePlus! changelog

v1.21 · Aug 19, 2007

NephilimNX has released a stable version of ThemePlus! v1.21. Apparently, the developer didn't get a chance to beta test all the functions in the first release of v1.21. This version now has all the bus fixed, so if you downloaded the one we posted earlier, replace it with this one instead.

Here's the changelog:

  • Modified how Daily, Monthly, and Yearly intervals work

o Daily - Wallpaper now changes the next day the PSP boots up, restarts, or exited from game regardless of time
o Monthly - Wallpaper now changes the next month the PSP boots up, restarts, or exited from game regardless of day or time
o Yearly - Wallpaper now changes the next year the PSP boots up, restarts, or exited from game regardless of day, month, or time

  • Fixed timezone bug. There will be a slight delay increased when wallpaper is changed for the sake of timezone. Other than that, same performance when the wallpaper will not be changed
  • Updated config.ini. This is a problem in v1.2.
  • New 'ms0:/seplugins/themeplus/themeplus.dat' file is created everytime the psp changes wallpaper. Deleting it will reset the checkpoint that will be basis for date compare.

Please read the README.TXT file included in the download for installation and usage instructions as well as more info on ThemePlus!. ThemePlus! is a vsh plugin so be very careful when you install it.

v1.2 · Aug 17, 2007

A lot can be said about a person by looking at his gadgets. If you're the kind of person who gets bored easily and craves change, you'll probably want to customize your PSP to mirror that by installing NephilimNX's ThemePlus v1.2.

For those unfamiliar with this homebrew, it randomly changes the wallpaper of your PSP whenever you turn it on or exit from a game or homebrew. It can also be customized to make these changes at regular intervals ( Always/Daily/Hourly/Monthly/Yearly). The developer released the change log of the program in case you've been using an older version and want to see if its worth the upgrade:

Change Log:

  • Added new intervals of replacing wallpaper (besides ALWAYS and DAILY): HOURLY, MONTHLY and YEARLY.
  • Added option to specify Images folder manually
  • Added configuration file - Config.ini
  • Timezone is now loaded properly. No need to use timezone.ini.
  • Optimized code to increase performance
  • Bundled with Guilty Gear wallpapers

Download the program and try it out. Remember to go over all the documentation included with the program to avoid any problems.

v1.01 · Aug 14, 2007

ThemePlus! is a prx for custom firmware 3.x that lets you display a different wallpaper on you PSP everyday.

It's all automatic, too. ThemePlus! loads when you boot up your PSP. If it detects that your current wallpaper is one day old (done by comparing your PSP's system date/time with the creation/modification date of your existing wallpaper), it will select another wallpaper randomly from your images folder and use that one instead.

Version 1.01 now gives users the option to change their PSPs' wallpaper every boot. To do this, NephilimNX tells us to "Just rename or delete the file 'ms0:sepluginsthemeplus timezone.ini'. If the plugin does not find that file, wallpaper will be changed everytime the PSP boots."
