In case you're not familiar with the Spy Calculator, it's basically a homebrewed calculator coded in Lua. Check out this how-to if you need help in how to go about using this application:
- R + round: see orders
- R or L: display the keypad for number x or y number
- Cross + L: select number x
- Cross + R: choose number y
- Triangle: p choose power (not very comfortable to press cross I know ^ ^)
- L + R + triangle: leave the homebrew
- Left + round: go back
- Buttons on the text "tests with the buttons!" : Change its screen (citation of alexism14 ~ ~> I know they are not terrible, but that is what I put for now )
Like previous versions of Spy Calculator, this one does not come with its own readme file to guide new users, so better make sure that you know how to use these kinds of programs before attempting installation.
v4.0 · Apr 21, 2008
Those who have been enjoying the homebrew application Spy Calculator from the French coder alexism14, you will be glad to know that the developer has rolled out a new build. This release brings the program up to version 4.0.
Spy Calculator, for the uninitiated, is calculator program for the Sony PlayStation Portable coded in Lua. It is able to provide users with basic mathematical functions while on the go which is quite nifty, when you really think about it.
Anyway, version 4.0 comes with several changes and the most notable of which is the changed in the interface as well as the inclusion of an English menu. However, the coder noted that the most recent build still has a couple of bugs in it.
Spy Calculator v4.0 doesn't come with its own documentation so just be sure that you know what you are doing to avoid any problems.

French homebrew developer alexism14 has rolled out a new build for the application Spy Calculator, bumping it up to version 3.0.

With this, you can perform basic mathematical functions. Here's the changelog for this version translated to English using an online language engine:
- Added display of remaining battery
- Added, as planned, a screen
- Changed touches
- Opportunity to go back if it was mistaken
- Number x and y number separated
As we mentioned, this was created by a French homebrew coder. That said, you may need to have a basic understanding of the language to maximize its potentials. You can also refer to the source link below for more details.
