About pspssh
The old Dropbear port only speaks algorithms that a current OpenSSH turns down. This one uses curve25519-sha256, ssh-ed25519 and aes256-ctr and nothing weaker. Servers are added, edited and deleted on the console with the on-screen keyboard. The terminal is 80 columns with colour. A server's key is remembered the first time you connect, and if it changes later the connection is refused.
It uses a Wi-Fi connection already saved in Network Settings. The PSP does WEP and WPA-TKIP. For WPA2 you need the wpa2psp plugin on 6.61 PRO, and ARK has it built in. Leave a host's profile at 0 and it tries each saved connection in turn. Servers are kept in pspssh.hosts next to the EBOOT and keys in pspssh.known. A password saved there is plain text, so leave it empty if you'd rather type it each time.
You type a line at a time through the on-screen keyboard, which suits a shell or git but not vim. Public key login isn't done yet. The author uses it on a PSP Go with custom firmware.
- Cross: type a line
- Square: Enter
- Triangle: Ctrl-C
- Select and Start: Ctrl-D and Tab
- L and R: Escape and Ctrl-L
- D-Pad: arrow keys
- Circle: leave the session
