PSP phone dialer changelog
v0.02 · Feb 2, 2008
Homebrew developer dragula96 dropped by to inform us that the latest update to the PSP phone dialer app is now available for download with PSP phone Dialer 0.02. This newest version has added a records editor feature, as well as making the tones clearer and louder for your PSP to pick up.
Anyway, here's the complete changelog to the updated 0.02 build of PSP phone Dialer:
0.02 changes
- swapped the tones with clearer, louder, longer ones
as a result dialing takes longer though
- total records(and probably the limit) = 18 now
- added record editor(a very simple one) but it gets the job done.
- as a result names are now restricted to 20 charecters as a result.
- no more pc needed for editing numbers!
As an added bonus, dragula96 mentioned that he might work on a version which caters to the 11-digit phone numbers in the UK. We'll have to wait and see if the developer comes up with something new in the near future though.
In any case, please don't forget to take a look at the Readme.txt included in the downloadable archive of the file. You can also discuss the program with the developer by visiting the QJ.NET PSP Development forum, accessible through the link below.
v0.01 · Feb 1, 2008
It's been a while since his last update, but it looks like dragula96's back with us for another year of PSP homebrew coding.
The developer recently dropped by the Qj.NET PSP Development Forums to announce the release of PSP phone dialer v0.01. This application allows users to dial from their PSP to a nearby phone.
PSP Dialer achieves this by storing your digits, which the handheld then activates off as touch tone sounds that will be picked up by a phone mike held close to its speakers.
That's the lowdown on what PSP Dialer does - full instructions on its use are available in the file bundle's readme. Readers are also encouraged to visit dragula96's thread at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forums to post their feedback regarding the app.
