Plugin: copy pspcast.prx to /SEPLUGINS/ on the Memory Stick. On ARK-4 and ARK-5, add a line for it to /SEPLUGINS/PLUGINS.TXT:

Use vsh instead of game for a plugin that runs in the XMB, or pops for PS1 games, as the release notes say.

About psp-cast

The pspcast.prx plugin sends the picture and sound from games and the XMB over the USB cable, and PSPCast.exe on Windows 10 or 11 shows them in a window or fullscreen. Buttons go the other way too: an Xbox pad, DualShock 4, DualSense or the keyboard controls the PSP. It runs at 30 fps, and an optional 60 fps mode kicks in while the game runs above about 45 fps. Holding the pad's PS button (or Home on the keyboard) for a second goes back to the XMB, and the PSP's screen can switch off while streaming.

It needs custom firmware and a USB data cable. The author uses a PSP-E1000 with PRO and LME, and expects ARK-4 to work.

- Copy pspcast.prx to ms0:/SEPLUGINS/.
- PRO or LME: add ms0:/seplugins/pspcast.prx 1 to both GAME.TXT and VSH.TXT. ARK-4: add game and vsh lines for it in PLUGINS.TXT.
- Switch the PSP right off (hold the power switch about 5 seconds) and back on.
- The first time, start a game with the cable in, open Zadig on the PC, list all devices, pick 054C 01DC and install WinUSB.
- Run PSPCast.exe and press Start.

Turn RemoteJoyLite off if you use it, as the two fight over the USB port.
