ParKing changelog
v1.3 · Jul 16, 2008
Parallel parking definitely isn't as fun and easy as non-drivers may perceive. However, this homebrew game here from taeKy, ParKing v1.3, does provide for the fun.If this is the first time you've come across this, it's a pretty simple game. All you have to do is park your car as fast as you can. Having done that, we're sure you'd want to beat your own time record, and that you can exactly do. Of course, beating your own record isn't as fun as getting to compare your record with other players'. You can do that as well by checking out the update list of all the records in the CarPark homebrew game community. In the previous version, he's added vehicles to the roster and has done the customary bugfixes. For this version, 1.3, here's what's in store for you: * New backgrounds were changed * Addition of one 3rd level on snow-covered street * Addition of one 3rd vehicle (4X4) * Suppression of bugs minorMore information can be found at the developer's site, but just make sure to bring your handy translator with you when you do drop by. It's in French, you see. Enjoy!

v1.1 · May 20, 2008
There have been a lot of homebrew games for the PlayStation Portable that focus on some really offbeat themes and gameplay mechanics. Developer taeky throws another wacky game to the mix with the car parking homebrew title entitled "ParKing".
For a first time coder on the PSP homebrew platform, the developer did a pretty good job with the game's visuals. The gameplay can also be quite challenging despite its simple nature as you constantly try to outdo your previous times in completing the parking challenge.
Parking v1.1 added a couple gameplay tweaks, such as the ability to reverse the curb and back buttons for added convenience as well as an option to park from both directions. The game was tested using a PSP fat running on custom firmware 3.71 M33. To install it, just copy the entire folder into your GAME homebrew directory and run it from there.
Future plans for the game include a way to upload your scores online and compare it with other gamers who've played Parking. Some suggestions, such as the addition of several vehicles and levels, are also being considered by the developer. Hopefully, we'll be seeing more updates that include these features some time soon.
