About OASIS_OS

A desktop environment in Rust that runs on the PSP, on a PC and in a web page from the same code. On the PSP there's a window manager, a terminal with about 95 commands, a web browser that does HTTPS over TLS 1.3, a file manager, music and photo players, paint, a calculator, a text editor and 17 skins. TV Guide streams Internet Archive video, with the PSP's Media Engine decoding the H.264, and Internet Radio plays Archive collections.

The PSP release has three files:

- OASIS-OS.PBP: the shell. Put it in ms0:/PSP/GAME/OASISOS/ as EBOOT.PBP.
- oasis-overlay.prx: a kernel plugin that draws the shell's interface over a running game and plays MP3s in the background. It goes in ms0:/seplugins/ as oasis.prx.
- RECOVERY.PBP: a Wi-Fi file server for getting files back on if something breaks. It goes in ms0:/PSP/SAVEDATA/ARK_01234/, and you hold R at boot to start it.
