NCDZPSP changelog

v2.2.2 · Oct 8, 2007

It looks like emulation fans have something nice in store for them today. NJ has released a new version of all of his emulators, with a couple of tweaks for each of the emulators that fans should find interesting.

Without further ado, here's a google translation of the notes NJ has added onto his previous release:

The modification point with ver.2.2.2:

  • Way it draws UI at everything GU, modification.
  • English integrating the binary of edition and Japanese edition. When the indicatory language of PSP itself is Japanese, with Japanese, the other than of that is English.
  • With PSP-2000 the Home button was made enabled. The time before you open the menu similarly with the Home button.
  • Because the clear range of VRAM when initializing by mistake was, correction. Whether this was unstable with cause.
  • CPS2PSP/MVSPSP: When with PSP-2000 it sleeps, because there were times when portion of graphics is destroyed correction.
  • CPS1PSP: When it compiles with psp-gcc-4.1.0, because it cannot start [supamatsusuruboma], way psp-gcc-4.0.2 is used, modification.
  • CPS1PSP: Because there was the ROM set which has forgotten to correspond with final fighting spirit correction.
  • CPS1PSP: Because there was a problem in drawing of the stars layer, correction.
  • MVSPSP/NCDZPSP: Interruption processing of picture modification to up-to-date MAME wind.
  • In addition detailed bug correction and the like.

In addition to these helpful notes given by NJ, you would also best be served by being very careful in your installation of the emulators, as there isn't an English translation of the readme files in sight. In any case, we're sure you'll get a kick out of trying these new emulator builds out. Good luck with installation, and enjoy your games!

v2.2.1 · Oct 2, 2007

Homebrew developer NJ just unleashed a massive update for his emulation projects bringing them all to version 2.2.1. The emulators included in this release are CPS1PSP, CPS2PSP, MVSPSP and NCDZPSP. The first two are for Capcom Play System 1 and 2 while the last two are for Neo Geo MVS and Neo Geo CD.

Much like the previous releases, NJ has made all of them compatible with the new PSP Slim & Lite running on CFW 3.71 M33. The following changes were done as related by the coder himself (translated using an online language engine):

  • Everything: When failing in opening the ROM file, because processing is strange, correcting the bug which has been frozen.
  • MVSPSP: Correcting the bug which sound has stopped being played back at portion of the game where cash had become unnecessary.
  • MVSPSP: Correcting the bug where the character transforms with the small game of size.
  • CPS1PSP and NCDZPSP were added, but because it cannot guarantee operation, please acknowledge.

If you are quite unsure how to use these programs, take the time to translate the Japanese Readme.txt files for each emulator to English for more information.

v2.0-11019 · Feb 21, 2007

Alright, everyone! Listen up! This here is a one-time, big time drop, so you better be quick on your feet to catch them all! We've got for you NJ's big bash, the latest version (it's now at 2.0.6) of his takes a deep breath CPS1PSP/CPS2PSP/MVSPSP/NCDZPSP.

We told ya it's gonna be a lot. Now, there are a lot of stuff to know about these sweet peas. Now, Google did a swell job of translating NJ's notes to us, and for this, we'd all like to bid you good luck. Check out what we mean:

Modification

  • Attendant upon the source integration of NCDZPSP, all sources were rewritten.
  • Adding Japanese user interface edition with all emulators. Japanese user interface edition when it compares with English edition, about 800KB consumes memory in excess.
  • MAME Plus! It corresponded to the command list of type. Please put command.dat on the same directory as EBOOT.PBP. Furthermore, when the Japanese command list is used, about 800KB memory is consumed in excess.
  • The item which can be set with makefile increases, but UI_BPP32 other than NCDZPSP the one which it tries not to use is good, is. Compiling is possible, but memory is not enough and when the game cannot be started occurs.

There. Good luck. Oh, and not to add any further to your agony, but you better check out the Readme. You know the drill.

v2.0 · Feb 14, 2007

NJ bids farewell to the PSP scene. As a gift to the community, he's offering v2.0 of his four NeoGeo emulators - CPS1PSP, CPS2PSP, MVSPSP, and NCDZPSP. All v2.0 emulators have adhoc versions as well.

Documentation with the attached downloadable archive you see here will explain the changelogs and instructions for each. Now if you'll excuse me, I must depart, I hate goodbyes... (sniff)
