Here's what DreaDNoughT had to say about HvS v0.2b:
"as promised here it is, the long awaited second beta of hvs; it has scrolling, stable gravity matrix, smoothened up character movement, a menu that's actually working.. now we have worked on this for about 2 months now and it's very well done, so if anyone that don't want to download this because the prevoius version sucked, well i can tell u that this is WAY better then the prev version, and all the credits goes to virons (music and graphics) and me dreadnought (coding this)"
If you try it out, let us know how you find it. To play the game:
- analog nub - controls the character (can be disabled)
- directional pad - controls the character
- cross button - jumping

A very interesting homebrew game came our way recently. DreaDNoughT wrote to us about this game that he has worked on called "Hackers Vs Sony". The good developer slaved on this one for a week and the game is well, you guessed it- hackers going up against the Sony people.
This one is a megaman style game and you must fight the evil Sony minions so as you can go deeper and deeper within the recesses of the Sony HQ and destroy the ultimate boss that blocks beloved homebrews. The Sony coders take the form of bluish, alien like creatures heavily armed with their weapon-- the Sonylight. You, as the hacker, take the form of a bird and you must defeat them with your
own weapon-- the butterball.
Now, if only this applies to real life.
