About Game Categories Lite
codestation's fork of Bubbletune's Game Categories Light and Revised, for custom firmware on 6.20, 6.3x and 6.60. Categories come from folders, and they show either as folders in the Game menu or in a context menu. The mode, the CAT_ prefix and showing uncategorized items are set in System Settings. Version 1.6 adds sorting categories with a number, as CAT_XX or XXname.
Make it the first plugin in vsh.txt. To hide homebrew, games or DLC from the lists, put their folder names, one per line, in seplugins/gclite_filter.txt and end the file with a new line. The options are translated into a dozen languages, and you can add one by saving category_lite_en.txt under your language code in UTF-8.
Folder mode allows 8 categories, uncategorized included, and the category and app folder names together can be 30 characters at most. On a PSP Go, changing category needs a VSH reset.
