FuSa v1.0 build 45 changelog

v1.0.48b · Nov 6, 2008

from Andy_maN:As the title says, it's 48th build of FuSa SD :)It's almost the same as 47-th build, except new FS mode 3.This mode is experimental, so picture can blinks on some TVs while playing some games or some part of game. It's similar to Sony's official TV out for HDTVs - so now you can try what HDTV users already have had :)In most case this FS mode 3 is for us, developers, and it will lead us to GfX filter in future (hopefully :p)

First, a quick recap: the FuSa plugin allows PSP Slim owners to hook up their handhelds to any TV over any kind of video cable - be it composite, component, svideo, or d-terminal - and play their games in full screen mode.

Now for the news. The latest build of the FuSa plugin, build 45, is now available. It includes additional language support, a new menu hotkey, and a second full screen mode. Here's a full list of what's new:

  • Now FuSa support 6 languages (ENGLISH, RUSSIAN, GERMAN, ITALIAN, DUTCH, POLISH)
  • Fullscreen mode 2 was added (REAL FULL SCREEN!)
  • You don't need dvemgr.prx now
  • Now you can just hold RIGHT and LEFT buttons while setting up FPS/priority - values will scroll automaticly
  • NEW: menu hotkey was added - hold R-TRIGGER while setting up FPS/priority - 10x scroll speed
  • And a few code improvements

The download includes a readme file but according to the devs, for some reason's it's from build 43. If you need more info on the FuSa plugin, we recommend clicking on the article link below.

Here's some good news for all of you who've been excited about FuSa Build 032. We've just learned that it's now available for people to download.

For those who haven't heard of FuSa, it's an application that allows users to play PSP games on a TV over all cable types. Sweet, right?

Here's the changelog for FuSa v1.0 build 032, as written by OldPrisoneR:

  • Full GTA games series support
  • Connection is stable now (You can freely enter menus in GTA :) )
  • No more extra noise or stammer!
  • New settings added
  • And more... (I've just forgotten what I'd implemented there else, sry :) )

In related news, OldPrisoneR also announced plans to implement fullscreen support on the next build. That's an exciting addition, to say the least, and we hope it goes well. There are obvious advantages to playing a game on a screen that's bigger than your Sony PSP's screen. Fortunately, homebrew developer OldPrisoneR's custom firmware plugin - FuSa 1.0 Beta build 011 - allows handheld owners to play Sony PSP games on their TV sets over composite cable.

OldPrisoneR recently released a minor update to the homebrew application. It basically adds the following features:

  • Added "autoenable"
  • Added SpeeD BoosteR
  • Now you can enable/disable SPEED BOOSTER
  • Killzone: Liberations, SH: origins now runs perfectly
  • There was some noise in home screen - fixed

In a nutshell, the updated version of FuSa 1.0 Beta build 011includes bug fixes, enhanced game compatibility and the ability to toggle the Speed Booster feature on and off. For a more detailed directions on how to use FuSa Beta, as well as a list of which games the Speed Booster feature works with, kindly consult the readme file that comes with the package.

As with all PSP homebrew applications, kindly exercise caution when downloading and installing the files.
