About fMSX and ColEm
Two emulators, each with its own download. Both builds are for firmware 2.00 and up.
fMSX covers the MSX, MSX2 and MSX2+. It looks for the system ROMs in a SYSTEM.ZIP next to EBOOT.PBP, and game files go in zips of their own. MSX-MUSIC and MSX-AUDIO are off by default because they slow the PSP down, so turn them on in System settings for games like Aleste that use them. A multi-disk game can sit in one zip with its disks numbered 1 to 0. Select + L and Select + R switch disks.
ColEm needs the ColecoVision system ROM in its own folder, loose or in SYSTEM.ZIP. Games can go anywhere. It has a rewind button you set in the Control tab.
- Analog stick: joystick
- D-pad: cursor keys (fMSX) or joystick (ColEm)
- R: virtual keyboard or keypad
- L + R: emulator menu
