Sandroron returns with another update to his wildly popular PSP Flappy Bird clone. This version includes new birds!
Sandroron brilliantly capitalizes on the success of the Flappy Bird mobile game in this excellent PSP clone. After adding multiplayer and map customization in version 2.0, the developer is back to improve his code even more. As noted by the changelog below, build 2.1 adds a gory character choice called Squishy Bird and includes full score keeping functionality. If you miss having Flappy Bird on your phone, this is the best way to cure that itch on your PSP!

Most of you know what Flappy Bird is by now, but in case you don't, the object of the game is to pilot a chubby bird through a series of Mario pipes. The concept was originally made popular on mobile platforms, but has since crossed over to PSP thanks to this amazing port by Sandroron. Version 2.0 adds quite a bit to the basic experience by including multiplayer, more bird colors, the ability to customize the game's background, and a couple extra play modes. Despite the fact that Flappy Bird has been pulled from mobile stores left and right, this game is probably one of the most cloned projects at the moment. As part of that recent trend, PSP developer Sandroron has made his own Flappy port. It plays just as you would expect. Simply tap X or O to flap in between pipes to reach the highest score possible. There isn't much more to it, so check out the coder's words below!
