Release notes

v2.00 · Caprice32 PSP v4.2.0.2 (compiled for 1.00 and 2.00+) · Nov 28, 2007

Akop Karapetyan, otherwise known as Uberjack, has released a new version of Caprice32 PSP, his Amstrad CPC emulator for the Sony's PSP, bumping it up to version 4.2.0.2. Most notable of all the changes, at least in our opinion, is the save state autoloading feature he's implemented for Caprice32 PSP v4.2.0.2.

In any case, below is the full change log for Caprice32 PSP v4.2.0.2. You can download either the 1.50 version or the version meant for 1.00 and 2.00 firmwares of your PSP. Enjoy!

Changelog:

  • ZIP file support for disk and tape images
  • Disk images can be saved, ejected and loaded without resetting the system (System tab)
  • Save state autoloading - any save state slot can be designated as the autoload slot (Options tab, disabled by default). Saved games in the autoload slot are loaded any time a game is loaded from the Game tab
  • CPC model is now correctly reset when modified via the System menu
