Developer's note:After two emails per week for the past few weeks I decided it was time to release a new version of my plugin.For those of you who are new to it, this plugin lets you launch homebrew, PSX games and ISOs on startup by pressing the configured button. You can also set something to automatically start without the need to press any buttons.It now supports the GEN firmwares and I’ve added support for Bubbletune’s Game Categories plugin so you can browse the CAT_* folders too. There’s also a small bugfix for the small number of you that have games with no name.This should work for everyone but if you come across any problems just post a comment or email me. Hey, this plugin is meant for quickly loading up a specified game/app at startup by pressing the corresponding button. With the included configurator you can configure up to 10 buttons and there is also an option to specify something to autoboot at startup without pressing any buttons. It is able to launch ISO/CSOs, PSX games and homebrew.This is the final release of AutoStart. The configurator has a new GUI and it's faster to find the games you are looking for. Any bugs in the previous versions should also be fixed. Using your PlayStation Portable as your dedicated music playing device can be a hassle at times, especially when you still have to navigate through the handheld's XMB before listening to your favorite tunes. However, developer roe-ur-boat has devised a homebrew plug-in which allows you to bypass your PSP's startup and immediately run your preferred third-party apps.The latest version of AutoStart PRX introduces several handy features which extends the program's functionality to a considerable degree. Aside from loading your homebrew apps upon start up, the plug-in can now launch PSone games as well. Here are the rest of the details to AutoStart PRX V4, taken directly from the program's changelog:Version 4:You can now bypass the autoboot by putting the WLAN switch up.You can launch PSX games now too.Rewrote the configurator and the configuration file parser. Developer roe-ur-boat visited the Q.NET Forums earlier to announce the relase of AutoStart PRX V3. This plugin will enable users to assign homebrews of their choice to activate on startup by way of holding certain buttons.

As if that function isn't handy enough, this plugin's latest version will also enable you to assign a homebrew or backed up game to autoboot during the PSP's startup. We imagine this function comes as a godsend for those who prefer having their choice MP3 player ready at all times.

Here are AutoStart PRX's changes since its initial release (quoting the readme):

• Version 3:

o Now you can assign a homebrew to autoboot. Handy for cintro. (No looping!)
o Now you can not only assign homebrew but backed up games too.

• Version 2:

o Added more buttons
o Improved the configurator
o Fixed a bug that showed the SCE logo when you exited from a homebrew
o Descreased the prx size from 30kb to 9kb

• Version 1.1:

o Descreased the prx size from 90kb to 30kb

• Version 1:

o Initial release
