Install on your PS5

Payload: start an ELF loader on the PS5 first, such as elfldr, which listens on port 9021. Then open this address in a browser on a computer or phone on the same network, with your PS5's address in place of PS5. elfldr downloads the payload and runs it.

About nanoDNS

Answers DNS on port 53 from the console itself. Domains that match one of your masks get the IPv4 address you set for them. Everything else goes to your upstream servers, tried in order until one answers inside the time limit.

Settings live in /data/nanodns/nanodns.ini, which is written with defaults on the first run. The defaults block a set of playstation.com, playstation.net and psndl.net addresses, with an exceptions list for the ones that should still resolve. Masks take shell wildcards, like *.example.com, and character classes such as [a-z].

It only listens on 127.0.0.1 and ::1 at first. Set bind=0.0.0.0 to answer on every IPv4 interface, or bind6=off to drop IPv6. Each query and reply goes into /data/nanodns/nanodns.log, which starts fresh at every launch, and quiet=1 turns off the pop-ups. It builds for the PS4 too.
