About The Screen Mirroring
The PS4 package here is only the receiving end. You also need the sender for your device: TheScreenMirroring.exe on a Windows 10 or 11 PC, or TheScreenMirroring.apk on an Android phone. Both are on the developer's release page. It all stays on your local network, with no account or cloud service. iPhone and iPad support is planned.
From Windows it mirrors the whole desktop, not single windows, along with the PC's sound. The PC app finds the PS4 on its own and has settings for resolution, frame rate and picture quality, and it drops the quality when the network can't keep up. The picture is JPEG, up to 1920x1080. Let TCP ports 9000 and 9002 and UDP port 9001 through the PC's firewall. Ethernet is the developer's advice, and they say it isn't meant for games that need very low latency.
The PC stream has no encryption or login, so other devices on the network could send pictures to the PS4 while it's open.
