MundoCraft changelog
v0.3.20-beta1 · Oct 24, 2026
MundoCraft for PS4 is now in beta. This release adds native sound, inventory search confirmation and controller stack splitting to the Luanti 5.17.0 port.
- Sound: OpenAL Soft with Ogg/Vorbis and native PS4 AudioOut through SDL2.
- Inventory: keyboard Done applies search; Square takes half a stack or places one item.
- Online play: the exact package passed Mineclonia LAN and public-server functional checks, including password reconnect and retained progress. The maintainer also reports successful stability testing; no duration or detailed measurements were supplied.
This is the exact tested 0.3.20-alpha1 PKG, promoted to beta without rebuilding or changing its bytes. Only its download filename and distribution metadata change; internal alpha labels remain. APP_VER 01.20, title ID LUNT00001. If that tested build is already installed, no reinstall is necessary.
Downloads and verification
Download MundoCraft-PS4-v0.3.20-beta1.pkg, verify it against SHA256SUMS, and install it using your existing package installer. Keep the existing application/data when updating. Corresponding engine/dependency sources and notices are in the -sources.tar.gz asset; BUILDINFO.json records the exact artifact and verification scope.
Known beta limitations
Mineclonia is obtained from a compatible server and is not bundled. Minecraft Java/Bedrock servers and accounts are incompatible. Offline local-world startup is unvalidated. The separate double-password registration form has an on-screen-keyboard issue; existing-account login and native unified login/registration (enable_split_login_register = false) were tested. No new instrumented FPS or memory-growth benchmark is claimed.

Read first
The release PKG passed the Linux cross-build, TLS link check, thread compatibility check and package format/content validation. This exact distribution PKG has not been installed or tested on PS4. Its bytes differ from the earlier development build, including neutral build paths, attribution notices and a rebuilt module CRT.
The earlier engine 01.19 build passed a private creative Mineclonia LAN test covering account/password handling, movement, inventory, digging, placement, pause and rejoining with saved progress after a server restart. Those results do not establish this package's hardware behavior or long-session stability. A public game has not yet finished loading in testing. Audio is disabled.
Game content is supplied by the selected Luanti server. Mineclonia is not included. Accounts and progress are per server. Minecraft Java/Bedrock servers, worlds and accounts are not supported.
Documentation and credits
English README · README en español · Build guide · Installation · Controls · Tests
Luanti retains LGPL-2.1-or-later; other components retain their respective terms. Complete credits, asset attribution and source/relink instructions accompany the release and are included in the package where applicable. See third-party notices and upstream distribution notes. Private repository access does not restrict the rights granted by those licenses.
Selected sources, fresh Git history, native artifacts, extracted PKG contents and dependency source archives were reviewed for known private data and credential/path patterns. Public upstream fixtures and TLS format labels were reconciled against pinned source bytes. No unresolved private-data findings remained in this review.
