About vice3DS

Start opens the Gamebase64 launcher and Select opens the VICE menu. The D-Pad and A work as the joystick, B is joystick up and R is autofire. The C-Stick gives you the cursor keys, and the 3D slider sets the emulation speed, from normal up to warp.

The bottom screen has 20 touch buttons for things like autostart, quick save and load, attaching a disk to drive 8, typing the LOAD commands and hitting RUN/STOP. Any of them, and any 3DS button, can be pointed at a menu item: highlight the item in the VICE menu, press R, then press the button.

The CIA version needs a DSP firmware dump for sound. The author recommends a New 3DS, where it reaches the full 50fps with reSID. An older 3DS gets around 20fps with fastSID.

Micro release 2.4.2. This release fixes the download of games in gamebase64 launcher. The old hoster was down and now, games are downloaded using a new hoster. To prevent future issues, the hosters can now be defined in gamebase64 database.

Installation:
Install CIA with FBI, run 3dsx from homebrew launcher (put 3dsx file in /3ds/vice3DS-C64 dir) or run 3ds from flash card.
