Install on your 3DS
Method 1Scan the QR code
With FBI (Remote Install › Scan QR Code) or 3dsDL (Scan QR Code). Either one installs it.

From your SD card: copy TJAPlayer_for_3DS.3dsx into /3ds/ and start it from the Homebrew Launcher.
Send can't find your 3DS? Type the address 3dsDL shows on Receive, then press Send.

About TJAPlayer
Make a folder called tjafiles in the root of the SD card and put the TJA files and their music in it. Music has to be Ogg. If a chart's TITLE or WAVE has Japanese or other multibyte text, convert the TJA file to UTF-8 first. KanjiTranslator can convert a whole batch at once.
A genre.json in a folder turns it into a genre with its own name, colour and font colour.
If the music lags or cuts out, raise the buffer size, at the cost of some frame rate. A 64Kbps, 32000Hz song plays at a buffer of about 8000. If you hear nothing at all, run DSP1.
Not supported: imo rolls (they become don notes), the SONGVOL, SEVOL, STYLE, LIFE, DEMOSTART and TOTAL headers, BMSCROLL and HBSCROLL, the TJC and TJF formats, and saving scores. ManOfNoWonder did the English translation.
