About StarCruiser7

Doug Neubauer's late-70s Atari game, rebuilt to use both screens and the 3D effect. The cockpit, sector scan and galactic map sit on the touch screen, and the flight through the star field is on the 3D screen.

The rough software renderer is there on purpose, to keep the look of an Atari 400 game. The author says enemy attacks are still fairly random and there are bugs left to fix, and points to the original Star Raiders manual for how it all works. Scans of it are easy to find.

- Circle Pad: steer
- D-Pad left/right: change touch screen view
- D-Pad up/down: speed up, slow down
- A: fire photon torpedoes
- B: shields on or off
- X: front or aft view
- Y: start or cancel hyperwarp
- L/R: lock on to the previous or next target
- Start: menu
- Touch: tap the cockpit for the attack computer, or a sector on the galactic map to warp there
