About Sonic Robo Blast 2
The New models' faster CPU and extra cache are what make it playable. On an original 3DS it was extremely laggy, the author says.
The game data isn't in the release. Download SRB2's v2.1.22 asset files (the main set and the optional one) and extract them to /3ds/srb2_3ds, where the .3dsx goes too. Any config.cfg has to sit with the game files. You also need a DSP firmware dump (dspfirm.cdc), so run dspDump first if you haven't.
No MIDI music, no netplay, and the bottom screen is hardly used.
