About SharedFontTool

Chinese and Korean 3DS consoles don't have the Japanese font, so Japanese games show broken text on them. This loads a different font set until you put the original back or restart, and it works the other way round too.

- D-Pad: pick a font
- A: load it
- Select: restore the original font
- Start: exit

There are built-in sets for each region and a combined Chinese and Japanese set. It can also load .bcfnt fonts from the font folder on the SD card. While a font from another region is loaded, the HOME Menu text can turn into blocks of question marks. A restart puts it right.

On an Old 3DS, start the game first, go back to the HOME Menu and then run the tool. The SFontT80 build is for games that run in the 80MB memory mode, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS for example.
