Install on your 3DS
Method 1Scan the QR code
With 3dsDL (Scan QR Code). Then open the .zip in 3dsDL's Files and extract it where the release notes say.
Method 2Send it to your 3DS
Open 3dsDL › Receive on the same Wi-Fi, then press:

About OpenTTD
Extract openttd.zip into /3ds/ on the SD card.
Why such an old version: the newer ones crashed for lack of memory on the Old 3DS, even with a small map, and 0.7.0 is also what the DS port uses. It still does a lot of what you'd expect from OpenTTD, OpenGFX included, and the interface has been resized for the 3DS screen.
Not done yet: the top screen is only a console for now, there's no networking, and music doesn't work. The author doesn't own a New 3DS.

Changes
- Resized various GUI elements. Most should fit vertically on the 3DS's bottom screen.
- Animations are fixed and have been enabled in openttd.cfg
- Enabled -O2 optimizations
