About fastboot3DS
Lets you put .firm homebrew in boot slots and start them from a boot menu or a button combo you choose. It has basic NAND backup and restore tools too. It sits in a critical partition of the system, and the authors take no responsibility if something goes wrong.
Install it with OpenFirmInstaller: put fastboot3DS.firm in sdmc:/ofi (plus secret_sector.bin if you're coming from A9LH), boot OpenFirmInstaller and follow the prompts. Then, if you like:
- Boot setup, Setup slot 1, Select slot 1 firm: point it at your main CFW, usually sdmc:/boot.firm
- Boot setup, Change boot mode, Set quiet boot: boot that slot silently every time
One slot has to be left without a key combo so it can autoboot. Hold HOME while powering on to get back to the menu. Older GodMode9 versions freeze when chainloaded from it, so use 1.5.0 or newer.
