Method 1Scan the QR code
With 3dsDL (Scan QR Code). Save it to sdmc:/3ds/.

Method 2Send it to your 3DS
Open 3dsDL › Receive on the same Wi-Fi, then press:
Send to 3dsDL
It saves to 3dsDL's Download Folder (Settings), so set that to sdmc:/3ds/ first. Updating? Use Method 1: Send keeps the old file next to the new one.

Other ways to install

From your SD card: copy BareCTR.3dsx into /3ds/ and start it from the Homebrew Launcher.

About BareCTR

Start it on the console and Minecraft clients can join. It speaks Minecraft 1.21.8 (protocol 772), so players need that version.

It's a port of Bareiron, which keeps the server as small as possible. The author calls it a project for learning C and says an LLM helped with debugging and refactoring parts of the code.
