About 3ds1010

You get three pieces at a time. Fill a whole row or column and it clears, giving you room and points. You can't win. The game ends when none of your pieces fit, so you're playing for a high score.

Drag pieces with the stylus, or hold L, R or neither and press A to pick one, then move it with the D-Pad or Circle Pad. Drop it off the grid or where it won't fit and it goes back. X opens themes, Y starts over and Start quits.

A theme is a text file of colours plus a 128x128 PNG of sprites. Saves from older versions can be updated with the saveconverter tool in the release, for Windows and Linux.

Release notes

v2.0 · Game over? · Feb 12, 2017

Hello! With this new release, I consider the game complete.
Saving, Themes, Good (enough) controls, Great UI, all is there. There might be a few bugs to fix as people find them, but features are finished.

This release adds better themes: text color control, and a banner.
The different colors of the pieces needed more space on the save so download and run the saveconverter for your OS, otherwise the game will crash when you launch it.

You can make your own themes simply by changing the colors in the colors.txt, and the images in sprites.png, then find a name for your theme and put the files in /3ds/3ds1010/Themes/<theme name>/
